F&M Bank at Public Square

A new six story banking headquarters and speculative office building that is located in a historic 19th century downtown district.  The owner requested a building with modern flair, that would also fit into its historic downtown context. The building was designed to take advantage of its panoramic views and strong position on the old City Square.

 

Architect’s Residence

A new residence in an established neighborhood designed to blend with the area with slight deviations at appropriate opportunities designed by and for partner Brad Martin.

After many design approaches, the architect chose to complement neighboring architecture, by including understandable gables, dormers and materials, with subtle twists to fulfill program requirements and creative desires.

Exterior porches were constructed using native standing dead pine trees harvested in Middle Tennessee following a Pine Beetle infestation.

A new Student Recreation Center containing cardio fitness areas, 3 court gymnasium, free-weight and circuit training areas, aerobics studios, a wellness center, a classroom, snack bar, locker rooms, showers, an administrative suite and a climbing wall.
